Stefanchuk calls to block all Visa and Mastercard payments issued by Russian banks

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk appealed to the heads of Visa and Mastercard companies with a request to block all Visa and Mastercard payments both in the Russian Federation and abroad for all, without exception, cards issued in the Russian Federation and by Russian banks outside Russia.

"In fact, by continuing to allow and process transactions in Russia, you support the financing of war crimes by the Russian Federation, which is now brutally killing Ukrainians and actually committing genocide of our people," the Ukrainian parliament's press service quoted the speaker as saying.

Stefanchuk is convinced that this will be decisive in the victory of the democratic world over the bloody and senseless authoritarianism that we are all witnessing now.
