American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine calls on U.S., other companies to stop working in Russia
President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder called on companies from the United States and multinational companies to close all their operations in Russia.
"U.S. companies must stop profiteering in a pariah state that murders innocent women and children and attacks a nuclear power plant in 21st century Europe," he wrote on his Facebook page on Friday morning.
The Chamber at the end of February already appealed to the headquarters of its members to reconsider their activities in the Russian Federation due to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. However, a number of large companies, in particular, Coca-Cola, Burger King, have announced their intention to continue working in Russia.
