Over 80% of population support Ukraine's accession to NATO, over 90% to EU – poll
Some 93.4% of Ukrainians support Ukraine's accession to the EU under a simplified procedure, while 84.4% are in favor of joining NATO.
These are the results of a sociological survey conducted by the research company Active Group in the early days of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, published on Thursday.
Some 1.3% of respondents do not support the course towards European integration, and 5.3% have not decided.
Ukraine's accession to NATO is not supported by 3.9% of respondents, and 11.7% have not decided.
The survey was conducted by Active Group on March 1-2, 2022 using the CATI method (telephone survey using computer systems). Geography: the entire territory of Ukraine, with the exception of the occupied regions. A total of 1,000 respondents were surveyed. The sample is representative by age, gender, region of Ukraine and type of settlement (urban/rural). The sampling error does not exceed 3.1%.
