Import of Russian gas through LNG terminal in Klaipeda stopped – Ministry of Energy of Lithuania
VILNIUS. March 3 (Interfax-Ukraine/BNS – Imports of Russian natural gas through the Klaipeda LNG terminal have been stopped since Thursday, Lithuanian Energy Minister Dainius Kreivis said at a press conference on Thursday.
"Any import of Russian gas through the LNG terminal has been stopped. There are no small cargoes left," Kraivis said.
Only the Lithuanian fertilizer plant Achema has recently purchased such goods from Russia from NOVATEK. The latter does not comment on the situation.
