PM of Canada: Whole world supports Ukraine, calls on Russia to stop aggression
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his support for Ukraine after a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Spoke with President Zelensky today. I applauded his leadership and the courage of Ukrainians. Volodymyr, Canada and the world stand with you – and call for an immediate end to President Putin's illegal attacks that have resulted in the deaths of civilians," Trudeau said on Twitter.
The Prime Minister also wrote about the work on the sanctions against the Russian Federation.
"We'll keep working with allies and partners to hold Russia accountable, including with severe and coordinated sanctions – and we'll continue to be there for the people of Ukraine. Our support is unwavering," he said.
