Ukrainian air defense shot down aggressor's cruise missile, causing explosion near Kyiv's railway station – Gerashchenko
A violent explosion near Kyiv's railway station occurred after Ukrainian air defense shot down a cruise missile of Russian troops intended for one of the control centers, Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko has said.
"Clarification on the explosion at the railway station. Our heroic air defense shot down a cruise missile of the Russian fascists, which was intended for one of the control centers. The fragments of the rocket damaged the heating main, but the damage will be repaired by morning. If this missile had hit a target somewhere in the center of Kyiv, casualties and destruction would be horrendous. Glory to the Ukrainian air defense!" Gerashchenko said in his Telegram channel.
