Enemy stopped at entrance to Enerhodar, negotiations underway on nuclear danger in event of hostilities – Arestovych
Russian troops were stopped at the entrance to Enerhodar in Zaporizhia region, local authorities are negotiating the nuclear danger in the event of hostilities, Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the head of the President's Office, has said.
"As for the issue that worries everyone: Enerhodar, Zaporizhia NPP. The enemy was stopped at the entrance to the city. The local leadership entered into negotiations, explained about the nuclear danger if hostilities begin in the city area. And this is a signal that we must convey to international partners. The country's leadership will soon respond accordingly about the danger of hostilities or simply the deployment of Russian troops near nuclear facilities," Arestovych said at a briefing at the President's Office on Wednesday afternoon.
