Ukrazaliznytsia appeals to ICRC to facilitate 'green corridor' to evacuate civilians from Volnovakha

JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" (UZ) has appeals to the International Committee of the Red Cross with a request to provide a "green corridor" for the evacuation of civilians from Volnovakha (Donetsk region), the company said on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.

UZ, in particular, notes that there is a humanitarian catastrophe in Volnovakha: after many days of bombardment by the Russian troops, it is blocked by the enemy, it is impossible to deliver provisions, water and medicines to it.

Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to send trains to evacuate the civilian population if the Red Cross can agree on the creation of a humanitarian corridor.
