Biden tells Zelensky about continuous US military, economic support for Ukraine - White House
U.S. President Joe Biden, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, assured him that the United States had consistently supported Ukraine in the military and economic spheres, according to a White House press release.
The statement says that the U.S. President underlined the unrelenting U.S. support for Ukraine, including ongoing military, economic and humanitarian aid.
In addition, the leaders of the two countries discussed the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Federation for its actions against Ukraine and the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Zelensky said that he had discussed with Biden the issues of anti-Russian sanctions and military assistance to Ukraine.
