As of March 1, 3,000 of volunteer units of community formed in Lviv – Sadovy

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy says that as of March 1, some 3,000 volunteer units of the territorial community have been formed in the city.

"As of March 1, some 3,000 of volunteer formations of the territorial community have been formed in Lviv. Thank you to the residents for being ready to defend their homes. Soon you will be issued special certificates," Sadovy said on the Telegram channel.

The mayor said only district administrations of the city are engaged in the formation of volunteer hundreds.

"No one can independently form groups and patrol the city without coordination with the terrorist defense and the police. All citizens should apply there. This is necessary for clear coordination of our actions," he said.
