President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, addressing representatives of the European Parliament, has said that he would like the phrase "Europe's choice of Ukraine" to be heard today from representatives of the European Union and the European Parliament.

According to the head of state, today Ukraine is giving itself for European values, rights and freedom, for the desire to be equal to its best people.

"There is such a phrase - the Ukrainian choice of Europe. This is what we aspired to and what we were going for. Therefore, I would very much like you to hear today, from you to us, Europe's choice of Ukraine," Zelensky said during a video broadcast of extraordinary plenary session of the European Parliament dedicated to the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
