Hungary supports accelerated accession of Ukraine to EU - Szijjártó
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó supported the accelerated accession of Ukraine to the European Union.
"Hungary supports this initiative, and we call on Brussels to put this issue on the agenda," the official said, referring to the proposal of Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Slovenia to immediately grant Ukraine the status of a candidate country in the EU.
