Zelensky appoints Mykola Zhyrnov as head of Kyiv military administration
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Mykola Zhyrnov as head of the general's Kyiv military administration.
"The defense of the capital is first of all. Therefore, I decided to appoint a professional serviceman as the head of Kyiv military administration during the war in order to ensure the defense of the city, to block the enemy's approaches to our capital, so that the people of Kyiv had everything they needed. The head of the military administration will be General Zhyrnov Mykola Mykolayovych," the head of state said in a video statement on Tuesday.
