European lessors withdrawing contracts with Russian airlines - Infrastructure Ministry
Six Russian airlines have received reports about the termination of contracts and the need to return leased aircraft.
The Ministry of Infrastructure told Interfax-Ukraine some Russian airlines declared their unwillingness to take Russian citizens out of the EU countries because of the risk of forced withdrawal of leased aircraft.
Similar cases of refusal to take Russians home were recorded in Turkey.
As reported, the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine calls on leasing and insurance companies to limit the use of aircraft by Russia.
