Zelensky awards title of Hero of Ukraine to 12 servicemen, six of them posthumously – decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine on 12 servicemen for heroism shown in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, the president's website reported on Monday.
Six servicemen were awarded the high rank with the Order of the Golden Star posthumously: Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Vahorovsky, Major Dmytro Kolomiets, Lieutenant Colonel Hennadiy Matuliak, Lieutenant Vitaliy Movchan, Colonel Oleksandr Oksanchenko, Senior Lieutenant Viacheslav Radionov.
Senior Lieutenant Andriy Gerus, Brigadier General Dmytro Krasylnykov, Lieutenant Colonel Andriy Kruhlov, Colonel Oleksandr Mostovy, Lieutenant General Yuriy Sodol, and Medical Colonel Eduard Khoroshun were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and the Order of the Gold Star.
