Kherson is still Ukraine, key task is to control operation of outlets, pharmacies – mayor

There were no shelling in Kherson this night, the city authorities are performing their functions - cleaning, garbage collection, transport - as usual, Mayor of the city Ihor Kolykhayev said on Facebook on Tuesday morning.

"The first day of spring. Kherson is still Ukraine... Today, the number one task is to control the work of shops, pharmacies, and others," he said.

The mayor recalled that yesterday accounts were opened for financial support of the city, and people from all over the world have already started to provide it.

"We will withstand anything. Since it is in our blood! We remain wise, we do not provoke uninvited guests, we keep calm for the sake of our city and the safety of people," Kolykhayev said.
