Ukraine's bid for EU membership has been registered, Ukrainian Representative to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community Vsevolod Chentsov said.
"Handed over Ukraine's application for the EU membership signed by President Zelensky to France's Permanent Representative to the EU Philippe Léglise-Costa, current Presidency of the Council of the EU. Application is registered. Process has been started," Chentsov tweeted in the early hours of Tuesday.
As reported earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Ukraine's EU membership application on February 28.
