Turkey to close Bosphorus for Russian warships passage
A senior European official says that Turkey will decide to close the passage through the Bosphorus for Russian warships.
He announced this to reporters in Brussels on Monday.
"Turkey's leadership is likely to formally acknowledge at today's meeting that what happened is a 'state of war.' These words were chosen very carefully, as this would have a direct effect on the convention that governs passage through the Bosphorus. This will mean that the passage for warships from Russia through the Bosporus will no longer be possible," the official said.
