Zelensky: Russia's actions in Ukraine must be assessed by intl tribunal
KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The aggressive actions of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine must be assessed by an international tribunal, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
"What the occupiers are doing to Kharkiv, Akhtyrka, Kyiv, Odesa and other cities and towns is to be assessed by an international tribunal. We clearly record all their crimes," the head of the Ukrainian state said in an address to the people on Sunday.
Zelensky said that the aggressor is going to bomb Ukrainian cities even more and "kill our children even more insidiously."
"They lied that they would not touch the civilian population. But from the first hours of the invasion, Russian troops have been hitting civilian infrastructure. They deliberately chose tactics to defeat people and everything that makes life just normal. Power plants, hospitals, kindergartens, residential buildings – everyone is under attack every day," Zelensky said.
