Ukraine calls on Israel to increase pressure on Russia to end war and start negotiations
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk in a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Knesset of the State of Israel Mickey Levy called on Israel to increase pressure on the Russian Federation to end the war and start negotiations, the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel reported.
"The Speaker of the Knesset expressed his support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people during the time of Russian aggression. Stefanchuk called on his Israeli counterpart to increase pressure on the Russian Federation in order to end the war in Ukraine and start negotiations," the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel said in the message on Facebook page on Saturday.
Stefanchuk and Levy also discussed Ukraine's needs for international assistance.
