WhatsApp to support Ukraine in limiting spread of disinformation
The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine received confirmation of support for Ukraine's measures for the information security of citizens from WhatsApp.
"Meta Corporation, which owns the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp services, has announced its support in blocking fake or fraudulent accounts, as well as in limiting the spread of disinformation. The decision will help Ukraine resist the information terror of the enemy and strengthen national security," the Center said on its Telegram channel.
The Center also reminded that they are checking all information with signs of false or distorted facts.
