Zelensky: Kyiv, key cities nearby controlled by Ukrainian army, we've thwarted invaders' plan

Kyiv and key cities around the capital are controlled by the Ukrainian army, the plan of the invaders to capture them has been broken, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.

"Kyiv and key cities around the capital are controlled precisely by our army. The invaders wanted to block the center of our state and put their puppets here like in Donetsk. We broke their plan. They did not get any advantage over us," Zelensky said in an address to Ukrainians on Saturday.
