In Kyiv region, enemy agents appear in instant messengers, social networks, collecting data on routes to Kyiv – Danilov
Users who are interested in routes to Kyiv have appeared on local forums and groups in Kyiv region in WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, Facebook, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov said.
"The authors of the messages actively ask in different variations about how to get to Kyiv, who can give a ride with a small child to Kyiv, how to get from Brovary to Boryspil. All authors have the same feature: they are all new members, joined groups only from 25 February, they write mainly in Russian," Danilov said on Facebook.
"Dear residents of Kyiv region, be careful! Persons who ask for information are enemy agents. Do not indicate routes, how and where to get and where there are free and accessible roads," he urged.
In the event that such users are identified, Danilov recommended complaining to the group administrator, as well as writing in capital letters in the comments that the author of the survey is an enemy who collects information.
"The WhatsApp messenger is technically protected. Information published in WhatsApp groups, especially those created in the last two-three days, requires special vigilance," he stressed.
