European Commission Head: We are ready to provide asylum to all refugees from Ukraine
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the readiness of the European Union to accept an unlimited number of refugees from Ukraine and provide any humanitarian assistance.
Von der Leyen said at a briefing in Brussels on Thursday that they also ready to provide asylum to all refugees, ready to provide all humanitarian assistance immediately, which is needed, in addition to macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of more than EUR 1 billion.
She added that she doesn't know how many refugees there will be, but they are fully prepared to accept them.
