Stoltenberg: Russian leaders bear full responsibility for death of people
Russian leaders bear full responsibility for the death of people as a result of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
At a briefing in Brussels on Thursday, the Secretary General said that Russian leaders bear full responsibility for their reckless actions and lost lives. Pro-NATO Allies condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the strongest terms. This is a blatant violation of international law and an act of aggression against a sovereign, independent and peaceful country and a serious threat to Euro-Atlantic security. NATO urges Russia to immediately stop its hostilities, withdraw its troops from Ukraine and choose diplomacy, he said.
