Kazakh interior ministry reports 18 fatalities among personnel
The death toll among law enforcement in Kazakhstan has risen to 18, and over 740 officers are injured, the Interior Ministry said.
"Eighteen law enforcement officers were killed and 748 police and National Guard officers were injured while providing law and order, preventing crime and violations and protecting public safety," the ministry said on Thursday.
