USA expects Nord Stream 2 to stop if Russia attacks Ukraine – Nuland

Washington expects a halt to Nord Stream 2 project if Russia invades Ukraine, U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said on Tuesday at a hearing before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

"If President Putin moves on Ukraine, our expectation is that the pipeline will be suspended," Nuland said when asked about potential sanctions.
