Some 8,710 new cases of COVID-19 recorded, 19,408 people recover in Ukraine per day -Stepanov
As of Saturday morning, 8,710 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine, 19,408 people recovered, 370 people died, Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov has said.
"Some 8,710 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 8, 2021. In particular, 374 children and 193 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 2,544 people were hospitalized, 370 people died, and 19,408 persons recovered," Stepanov said on his Facebook page on Saturday morning.
