Ukraine sees 7,856 new cases of COVID-19 infection over past day, 5,355 recoveries

In Ukraine, as of Monday morning, 7,856 new cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, 5,355 people recovered, 287 patients died, Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said.

"Some 7,856 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of April 12, 2021. In particular, 355 children and 119 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 2,770 people have been hospitalized, 287 people died, and 5,355 people recovered," wrote Stepanov on his Facebook page on Monday morning.
