Lausanne's court to consider UAF's appeal against decision on technical defeat in League of Nations match with Switzerland on Feb 16
Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has scheduled the consideration of the appeal of the Ukrainian Football Association against the UEFA decision on a technical defeat in the League of Nations match with Switzerland on February 16, 2021, the UAF press service said.
"The Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) has set the date for the consideration of the UAF's appeal against the UEFA decision regarding the enrollment of the Ukrainian national football team for a technical defeat in the League of Nations match against the Swiss national team, which was supposed to take place on November 17, 2020 in Lucerne," the UAF said in a statement on the website.
Thus, the hearing will take place on February 16, 2021.
As reported, on November 17, it became known that three players of the Ukrainian national football team Ruslan Malynovsky, Serhiy Kryvtsov, Júnior Moraes and physical training coach Ivan Bashtovy passed positive PCR tests for coronavirus (COVID-19) in Switzerland.
