In Kyiv, 953 new cases of COVID-19 detected over day, including 31 doctors
Over the past day, 953 new cases of coronavirus infection have been laboratory confirmed in Kyiv, mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko reported.
"Over the past day, 953 patients with coronavirus were found in Kyiv. 21 people died. In total, during the period of the pandemic in the capital, 1,875 people died from the virus. There are already 109,008 confirmed cases of the disease today," Klitschko wrote in the Telegram channel on Tuesday.
Among the cases, 542 women aged 18 to 91 years, 350 men from 18 to 87 years old, 26 girls from eight months to 17 years old and 35 boys from two months to 17 years old.
Also 31 doctors fell ill.
57 patients were hospitalized, the rest were in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
556 people recovered in a day. In total, 38,017 residents of the capital have overcome COVID-19.
Most cases of the disease were detected in Darnytsky district - 287, in Dniprovsky district - 141, in Sviatoshynsky district - 107 cases.
