Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron for his willingness to help accelerate the provision of Ukraine with the coronavirus vaccine, calling this step "a gesture of true friendship."
"Thanks to Emmanuel Macron for his willingness to help accelerate the provision of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is a gesture of true friendship," Zelensky wrote on his Twitter.
Zelensky also noted that he appreciates France's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and its peace initiatives.
