Ukraine sees 13,514 COVID-19 cases, 285 deaths in past 24 hours
Ukraine registered 13,514 new COVID-19 cases, over 15,000 recoveries, and 285 deaths in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said.
"Ukraine recorded 13,514 new COVID-19 cases on December 11, 2020. In particular, the virus was contracted by 638 children and 690 medical workers. Over the past day, 2,846 patients were hospitalized, 285 died, and 15,327 recovered from coronavirus," Stepanov said on Facebook on Friday morning.
Ukraine reported 13,371 contagions on December 10; some 12,585 on December 9; some 10,811 on December 8; and 8,641 on December 7.
As of Friday morning, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases reached 872,228, including 14,755 deaths and 480,348 recoveries.
