Ukraine sees 12,496 new cases of COVID-19 over past day, with largest mortality number of 256 deaths
In Ukraine, as of Wednesday morning, 12,496 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, 8,096 people recovered, 256 patients died,which is the largest number since the beginning of the pandemic, Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said.
"Some 12,496 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of November 18, 2020. In particular, 535 children and 529 health workers fell ill. Also, 1,668 people have been hospitalized, 256 people died, and 8,096 people recovered over the past day," wrote Stepanov on his Facebook page on Wednesday morning.
