Klitschko wins first round with 50.9% of votes on results of info processed from 99% of polling stations - Head of Udar party election staff
Incumbent Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko wins the first round of local elections held on Sunday, gaining 50.9% of the vote, said head of the election headquarters of Vitali Klitschko's Udar Party Oksana Prodan, citing information received from 99% of polling stations.
"We already have 99% of the polling stations that have provided their information about candidates for mayors and political forces in the elections in Kyiv ... According to the data that we have, according to a parallel vote count, Vitali Klitschko receives 50.9% of votes and with a high probability wins already in the first round in the elections of Kyiv mayor," Prodan said at an online briefing on Monday.
