Man steals box with Zelensky's survey forms in Chernihiv
In Chernihiv, police detained a man while trying to steal a second box with survey forms initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the communication sector of the National Police Directorate in the region.
"This morning, the police received a message from a woman who was interviewing at one of the polling stations that an unknown man grabbed a box with filled forms and ran away. Less than an hour later, a similar message came from another district of Chernihiv: there a man also tried to grab the box, but he was prevented from doing so," the law enforcement agency said.
The police established that a local resident was involved in both offenses. As the man explained, he threw the box with the forms away.
Law enforcement officers drew up an administrative protocol against him under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism).
