Police record 1,280 messages about possible violations of electoral process since start of voting – Interior Ministry
As of 12:00. on October 25, the police recorded 1,280 statements and messages related to the electoral process. Criminal proceedings have been opened on 14 facts, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports on the Telegram channel.
So, most of the messages were recorded in Kyiv - 151, in Kyiv region - 132, Donetsk - 110, Dnipropetrovsk - 98, Zaporizhia - 81, Lviv - 74, Cherkasy - 59, Poltava - 57, Kharkiv and Kherson - 54 each, Vinnytsia - 51, Odesa - 47, Sumy - 36, Rivne - 35, Zakarpattia - 31, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv - 30 each, Khmelnytska - 29, Luhansk - 27, Chernihiv - 26, Ternopil - 20, Ivano-Frankivsk - 18, Volyn - 14 , Zhytomyr - 11, and Chernivtsi - 5.
Regarding violations of the campaigning procedure, 303 reports were recorded, of which 158 about campaigning on election day, 65 violations of restrictions on campaigning, 50 violations of the secrecy of voting, 38 violations of the procedure for maintaining voter registers or election commissions or voter lists, illegal use of a ballot paper (attempt or delivery of a ballot paper) - 33.
Also, the police drew up 25 reports on the commission of administrative offenses.
