More than 7,700 citizens vote at home in Kyiv - Kyiv City Administration
In Kyiv, more than 7,700 people vote at home in local elections on Sunday, chief of staff of Kyiv City State Administration Dmytro Zahumenny said.
"Some 7,711 people expressed a desire to vote at home, of whom only six patients are sick with COVID-19 [in accordance with the statements]," said Zahumenny at an online briefing on Sunday.
According to him, the issue of safety of members of election commissions who will have to visit respondents wishing to vote at home has been resolved.
"We have resolved these issues. Appropriate instructions on personal protective equipment, provision of suits, masks, mittens, shields, and everything that is necessary to ensure 100% [security] have been given to members of precinct election commissions," Zahumenny said.
