Azerbaijan ready for truce on Karabakh but Armenian premier must declare commitment to fundamental principles of settlement – Aliyev
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that his nation is ready for truce in Nagorno-Karabakh on the condition that Armenia declares its commitment to the fundamental principles of the Karabakh settlement.
"Yes, we are ready. I have said many times publicly. We are ready to agree on ceasefire today," Aliyev said in an interview to the U.S.'s Fox News television. However, the Armenian prime minister must state that he is committed to the basic principles of settlement as designed by the U.S., Russia and France, Aliyev said.
