Funds for army won't be reduced in 2021 state budget - Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the state budget for 2021 will not reduce funds for the army.
"There were fake summons to the military registration and enlistment office, statements that Zelensky would destroy the army, all of this was. But there are indisputable facts - in 2020 the budget for the army became the largest in the history of Ukraine. During the coronavirus crisis, it did not decrease by a single hryvnia. Please, and don't say that in 2021 we will cut funds for the troops. I will not allow this, at least these funds will remain at the level of this year, namely more than UAH 117 billion," Zelensky said during the annual address of the head of state to the Verkhovna Rada.
