Zelensky announces start of work on strategy for economic development of Donetsk and Luhansk regions

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky says that the state needs a Strategy for Development of Economy of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, work on which has already begun.

"Already today, in the free territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, we are building a new Donbas - modern, safe and rich. But in order to make such a region, which suffered the most from Russian aggression, special economic conditions are needed. We need a Strategy for the development of the economy of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, including tax and customs preferences, insurance of military-political risks for investors, arbitration according to international standards. Work on it has already begun," he said in his annual message to the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
