Ukraine registers 2,411 new COVID-19 cases per day, 57 died, 940 recovered – NSDC
As of Tuesday morning, some 2,411 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease were recorded in Ukraine, while 940 people recovered, some 57 people died, according to data published on the website of the National Security and Defense Council's Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System (NSDC).
A day earlier, on September 7, there were 2,174 cases, on September 6 there were 2,107 new COVID-19 case, a record of 2,836 new infections per day was recorded on September 5.
The number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic was 140,479 people on Tuesday morning, some 2,934 people died from COVID-19 disease, and some 63,546 people recovered. Now in Ukraine, some 73,999 people are sick with COVID-19 disease, which is 1,414 people more than the day before.
The largest number of detected COVID-19 cases over the past day was recorded in Kyiv (235), Kharkiv (230), Odesa (196), Lviv (192), Ternopil (190), Ivano-Frankivsk (160) and Chernivtsi (159) regions.
However, some 2,779 suspicions of COVID-19 disease were recorded in Ukraine over the past day.
