Zelensky invited Russian journalists to Ukraine, surprised to hear of their problems on Ukrainian border
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited Russian journalists to come to Ukraine and see the situation and sentiments in his country for themselves, expressing surprise after being informed of problems Russian journalists encounter on the border.
"Do you have problems with crossing the border?" Zelensky asked Russian journalists who called out at the end of Zelensky's press conference that they are not being let into Ukraine.
Zelensky then invited Russian journalists to come to Ukraine and "walk there on their own feet, [touch everything with] their own hands, and [see everything with] their own eyes."
Zelensky, however, declined to reply upon being asked whether he himself is ready to visit Russia.
