U.S. Treasury Dept. Imposes sanctions on 17 individuals, 7 Russia-based cos for cybercrimes
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has introduced sanctions against seventeen individuals and seven legal entities domiciled in Russia over cybercrime allegations, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.
Some of the sanctioned individuals are Russian citizens. All companies included in the new U.S. sanctions list are based in Russia.
