Ukrainian mission to JCCC reports finalized assembly works on Stanytsia Luhanska bridge
The Ukrainian mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) has reported finalized preparations to repair the damaged bridge in the Stanytsia Luhanska disengagement area.
"Representatives of a bridge construction company, pyrotechnical units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and district road company employees are at work on the bridge. Safety railing has been installed on the 66-meter bypass bridge, and the bridge's timber floor has been laid," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in a statement on Facebook.
The bypass bridge will be available for the period of repairs of the damaged part of the main bridge, it said.
The curb is being cleared of cut trees and branches. Preparations are being made to lay asphalt near the fractured zone, and to build two bus stops near the damaged part of the bridge.
According to the JCCC, special bus service for senior and disabled citizens was launched on the Kyiv-held territory on July 15, 2019.
