Parliamentary elections show commitment of Ukrainian people to democratic ideals – U.S. Dept of State
The U.S. Department of State has congratulated Ukraine on holding parliamentary elections and noted that their progress clearly shows the commitment of Ukrainians to democratic ideals, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy to the United States has reported.
"We will work with the new government in Ukraine and the Ukrainian people on the path of reforms that are crucial to the success of the country. The United States reaffirms its continued support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Ukraine in building a strong, successful, democratic and secure state within its internationally recognized borders," the Ukrainian Embassy to the U.S. said on its official Facebook page.
The U.S. State Department said that the United States declared its willingness to cooperate with Ukraine, help implement reforms and support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
