France ready to hold Normandy Four meeting but certain steps, agreements needed first
France is ready to hold talks in the Normandy Four format (Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia), but some steps are needed first to prove the intention to fulfill obligations, French President Emmanuel Macron said.
"When it is time, we will be able – France is ready – to hold a Normandy Format meeting to uphold the commitments. But prior to that, we need certain gestures, certain steps to be made promptly for the intention to fulfill commitments to be proven," Macron told a press briefing he attended together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris on Monday, June 17.
