Zelensky: I must and will defend Ukrainian language
Volodymyr Zelensky who won the presidential election according to the results of exit polls has promised to defend the Ukrainian language and backs the language bill.
"I must, as a guarantor, defend the Ukrainian language, and I will do it," Zelensky said at a briefing in Kyiv on Sunday evening.
"We back the bill on the Ukrainian language. However, now this bill is in the Verkhovna Rada. I think there are some questions there," he also said.
