The candidate for the presidency of Ukraine, incumbent head of state Petro Poroshenko has called on the international community to support the Euro-Atlantic course of Ukraine given the vague situation in view of the victory of Volodymyr Zelensky in the presidential election.
"I want to urge the international community to help Ukraine retain the choice that Ukraine has made, follow the course towards the EU and NATO: please stay with Ukraine, no matter what," Poroshenko told foreign journalists at his headquarters on Sunday.
He noted that the results of the presidential election put Ukraine in an uncertain situation, the development of which is difficult to predict.
