Poroshenko: Zelensky will face strong opposition, I'm ready to support him in actions in interests of Ukraine

Petro Poroshenko, terminating his term as president of Ukraine, predicts that Volodymyr Zelensky, who won the second round of presidential elections according to the results of exit polls, will face strong opposition and declared his team was ready to fully support him in all decisions that will meet the national interests of Ukraine.

"I want to emphasize that the new president will have a strong opposition, a very strong opposition," Poroshenko said, speaking at his election headquarters in Kyiv on Sunday evening.

At the same time, he stressed that he was ready to help the new president get hang of things.
